MEETING
NUMBER ONE
FIRST MEETING - DECEMBER 2,
2010 - TO DISCUSS CLUB
SPONSORSHIP
|
|
Minutes listed below of meeting
on 12-2-2010 were taken by Jim Petersen.
|
|
MEETING
NOTES: An
initial Meeting between AZMCC
and Power Ford was held on 12-03-2010 @ 10:00 AM at Power
Ford. The purpose was to discuss a "Sponsorship
Agreement Document" which is shown below that was composed by
the AZMCC
"Members Committee" composed of Jim Petersen, AZMCC
Director, Richard Taylor, AZMCC
Club Coordinator and Jim Griffin, AZMCC
Senior Advisor. It had been reviewed and commented on by
other AZMCC
Members earlier in November during local Car Shows.
The meeting was held in the office of Lonnie Przybylinski,
General Manager of Power Ford of North Scottsdale. The
document, as reviewed today by Lonnie, Richard and Jim Petersen
was very acceptable to Lonnie, and he said it was written very
professionally and very well organized. He was also supplied
with the AZMCC
Guidelines Manual and numerous examples of Club documents as well
as Membership Cards and Award Certificates.
Lonnie showed Jim and Richard the Power Ford large and well accommodated
Conference Room where all AZMCC
Meetings can be held on any date and any time we mutually agree
upon. He was also receptive to an organized car show on site
as well as support for off-site Club activities. Lonnie will
now gather the entire package presented to him and discuss it with
his Corporate Management for approval.
The Approval/Disapproval Decision of items listed below will be
given to Lonnie on each supportable commitment by Power Ford
Corporate Headquarters NLT 12-10-2010.

PRIOR
TO MEETING NUMBER TWO:
READING BETWEEN THE LINES OR...
HOW TO "HURRY-UP-AND-WAIT" |
|
Special
Note regarding the delay in accepting the Sponsor Agreement
Document. |
|
I
was approached by 1. Power Ford, 2. Camelback
Ford and 3. Peoria Ford about several
Mustang related topics. The topics ranged from putting
together a Mustang Car Show to Sponsoring the AZMCC
by becoming our Official Ford Dealership. Five
Star Ford [#4 in line for our attention] was about to make
a bid to keep us as their Sponsored Mustang Club, but due to the
pending purchase of 5SF by the larger Chapman Automotive Group
they told me they would not do anything to support us as a
Club. Their GM basically had me relegated to talking with
one of his Managers who really knew nothing nor was he authorized
to make any promises to us as a Club. |
|
With
the first three Ford Dealers listed above all vying for our
attention, I was basically between a rock and a hard place, or in
reality really under a lot of stress to select a Ford Dealer to
help the AZMCC
grow and have a good place for our membership to go for good to
great things for their Mustangs. I was encouraged to
"wait" for a while before committing to any Dealer about
becoming our Ford Dealer Sponsor. I asked for a bit of time
and thought I might have burned any bridges into any of the three
dealerships. However, Power Ford waited patiently for me to
return and I ask if they were still interested in Sponsoring us
and fortunately
Lonnie Przybylinski,
General Manager of Power Ford of North Scottsdale did not even
hesitate one bit and welcomed me into his office and we reached an
agreement without looking back. Lonnie and his Team at Power
Ford are prepared to support us 100% from today forward. He
and his Team have all been very professional towards the AZMCC
and are looking forward to all of us forming one big Team or
Family together. |
|
We
signed the document below and it is only the beginning of what we
can do for Power Ford and Lonnie has assured me it is just the
beginning of us becoming a Team of Mustang Enthusiasts. |

MEETING
NUMBER TWO

|
The

on 2-24-2011 attended by Lonnie Przybylinski,
General Manager of Power Ford and Jim Petersen, Director of
the AZMCC
after reviewing and
discussing each point on the document below. It is posted
here for all AZMCC
Members to read and see all the initial agreements Power Ford and
